This customer wanted to convert this useless space on top of his garage into a spacious deck. We removed the layer of covering to find large spots of water damage underneath. To fix this problem we did the following:
- Repaired damaged spots
- Installed new plywood
- Installed PVC coated flashing to the edges
- Cut 8″ of the stucco to install vinyl
- Installed 60 Mil vinyl membrane running it up the wall of the cut stucco
- Installed a fascia board and flashing where stucco was cut
To complete this project, wooden fascia mount picket railings were installed.
This customer has informed us that they are loving their newly built 400 sf deck and getting lot’s of use out of it.
